Family Faith Formation
Who should attend? If you have a child entering 1st through 8th grade and he/she is not attending a Catholic school, then he/she should be attending our Faith Formation classes every year. We currently do not have a Kindergarten program, but if you have a Kindergartener and are interested in homeschooling using the same curriculum (with access to an online portal) we use for other grades, please contact Marty Smith at msmith@stjudes.net.
When are classes? Our Faith Formation Classes for grades 1-8 meet on Sunday nights from 5:30pm to 7:00pm beginning on September 27, 2026, concluding a few weeks after Easter.
How much does it cost? $85 for one child. $170 for two or more children.
Family Gatherings: Our Faith Formation program is intended to help the entire family grow in faith together. There will be approximately 5 family nights throughout the year that parents should plan to attend along with their children.
Additional Information: Our regular, weekly classes begin in the Brophy Center with an opening prayer, which occurs promptly at 5:30pm. At 6:45pm we will have a short closing prayer service in the Church. Families are welcome to attend both portions.

Paper: Download and print this form. Once completed, turn it in to the parish office along with payment (cash or check).
Sacramental Prep
First Holy Communion
Sacramental prep for First Holy Communion is a 2 year program. If not attending ASA, children must attend 1st grade Faith Formation classes before entering 2nd grade Faith Formation classes, which include Sacramental prep for Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
Confirmation
Likewise, Sacramental prep for Confirmation is also a 2 year program. If not attending ASA, children must attend 7th grade Faith Formation classes before entering 8th grade Faith Formation classes. All children, including students at ASA, are required to attend our 8th grade classes for Sacramental prep for Confirmation. Often times, special accommodation is made for the ASA students and those classes are held during the school day.

All non-ASA families should complete the Faith Formation registration form above and attend the in-person classes. ASA families do not need to fill out the Faith Formation registration form above.
