Who are the Knights?
The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men’s organization dedicated to promoting the principles of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism. But being a Knight is more than camaraderie; it is being involved in the community, supporting the Catholic Church, enhancing faith and protecting and enhancing family life.
Who can join?
Membership is open to practicing Catholic men, 18 years of age and older.
What do they do for the parish?
As a Knight, you can choose the projects in which you wish to be involved within the church and community. You may already be familiar with some of these projects — such as the annual “Tootsie Roll Drive” for the mentally impaired, the pancake breakfast, the monthly rosary at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans, and efforts to support Seminarians. From insurance to scholarships to service and social activities and programs, all are open to the whole family. If you have 24 available hours in a year, then learn more about what the Knights of Columbus can do for you, and what you can do for the Knights of Columbus. We welcome you.
