The Good Neighbor Project

We are in need of volunteers to help bring our project to life on October 24!

The Good Neighbor Project is helping our homebound parishioners prepare their yards for winter while also providing company and reminding them that they are loved and not forgotten. This is a great opportunity for high school/middle school service hours.

To quote Pope Leo, in his World Grandparents Day Speech we want to make sure that the prophet’s words are not forgotten “I will not forget you”. We want to combine a service that is needed with showing people that they are remembered and valued.

We hope that those who are helped find comfort and solace in the company of our volunteers and that our volunteers find peace and satisfaction in being an instrument that God uses to show he has not forgotten anyone.
