Those wanting to share their musical talents with the Parish as an instrumentalist should contact the parish office. If you have an ability to play a particular instrument and want to share your talent, please do not hesitate to make yourself known.

The cantor program at St. Jude is always looking for those with the gift of voice to lead our congregation in worship. Those who are interested should be comfortable singing in front of large groups and have previous experience in solo work or a choir. If you would like to audition to become a cantor, please contact the parish office.

The Adult Choir of St. Jude meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:45-8:15 PM. The choir sings twice a month at mass and on major Holy Days. The Adult Choir has traveled to Mackinaw Island, participated in choral festivals, and on Christmas 2014 joined with St. Patrick’s of Parnell’s Adult Choir to perform Darkness Into Light a Christmas Cantata. The Adult Choir welcomes parishioners to join this choral group at any time.

Choristers is a children’s choir with singers in grades Kindergarten through Sixth Grade. Singers are exposed to various genres of religious music. Along with a repertoire of music, singers are exposed to the basic elements of music and proper choral singing. Choristers meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-6:45 PM in the lower level of church. Choristers sing once a month as well as on Christmas Eve.

The Glory Group is the Parish’s contemporary ensemble. Comprised of guitar, percussion, keyboard, and vocalists, this group brings a unique style to Mass. The Glory Group sings on the first weekend of each month.

The Resurrection Choir provides music for funerals at St. Jude Parish. The group rehearses on Monday mornings from 9:15-10:30AM.
