Giving Tuesday
Please consider St. Jude in your charitable giving on Giving Tuesday, December 2.
The Catholic Foundation of West Michigan generously agreed to sponsor this year’s #GiveCatholicWM campaign with available grants totaling $10,000!
Five challenges are intended to encourage participation, inspire the sharing of faithful, joyous stories, and spark good-natured competition. Schools, parishes and ministries are encouraged to rally their communities to take up the following challenges throughout the 24-hours of giving on Dec. 2, competing to receive additional funds for their mission!
In order to qualify for any challenge grants, all donations must be received through the diocesan giving website for St. Jude. Credit card fees will be covered by the diocese. The Catholic Foundation of West Michigan will issue checks to the winning entities. See details below:
St. Jude has two fundraising goals
100% of your donation will go towards St. Jude Parish:
- Bikes & Blessings. The same team that brought you St. Jude’s Fall “Seek & Find” event is working on something for spring. We would like to raise $1000 to help support Bikes & Blessings, which will be a St. Jude Parish event dedicated to faith, community, and supporting our neighbors. This Spring bike event will invite parishioners and community members to donate a bike and/or receive one if they are in need. To make this event possible, our Giving Tuesday campaign has a goal to raise $1,000 to purchase bikes that will be given away during the event.
- Chromebooks for Catechists. We have a committed team of catechists who teach religious education classes to 35+ students every Sunday evening, but they often do so by using their own personal resources. We would like to raise $1000 to provide them with Chromebooks in order to help enhance instructional tools and resources.
Make your donation dollars go further by donating at the right time!
