FAQs

What do you do on these nights?

This is a brand-new program launching this year, combining student clubs with hands-on service projects. Once a month, we’ll gather to learn a new skill and use it to serve others in creative, meaningful ways. There’s something for everyone—whether it’s woodworking, rosary making, baking, or more, we’ll take what we’ve learned and bring the Gospel beyond the walls of our comfort zone.

This is also a great opportunity to gain up to 2 hours of service hours per night.

When will these be held?

The first one will be held Friday, October 6-7:30PM at the St Jude youth room (Door #2)

I am still feeling out what would be a good schedule. For the time being, it will be month to month.

Who is able to attend?

Any 6-8th graders are welcome.

If there are high schoolers that would like to come and assist, please let Sue know!

Will the kids be fed?

We will not provide a meal. Donations of a snack per night, would be great! Contact Sue if you could donate.

Do you need volunteers?

Yes!

It would be great to have a couple of parents there each night. For many of the nights it wouldn’t require any skill other than to help and keep the kids focused.

If you have a skill that you think you would be interested in teaching the kids, please let Sue know!

All volunteers need to be Virtus trained.
