Training Kids To Be Champions For Christ

We’re excited to bring you a fun-filled Catholic VBS for 2025! This year we’ll have an Olympic/Sports-themed program where kids will be inspired to set GOALS and AIM for a commitment to excellence in their Catholic faith.

Our Cathletics VBS will focus on TRAINING kids in the Word of God with teachings on: The Greatest Commandments, 10 Commandments, Beatitudes, Fruits of the Spirit, and Evangelization.

Who:

Kids aged 4 up to kids entering 5th Grade in the 2025-2026 school year

Where:

St. Jude Catholic Church (1120 4 Mile Rd NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525)

Date/Time:

Wednesday, July 9th: 9am-Noon

Thursday, July 10th: 9am-Noon

Friday, July 11th: 9am-Noon

Cost: $30

This year, we’re introducing a flat fee of $30. It doesn’t matter if you have one child, five children or more. It’s $30. Payment can be made through our ParishSOFT registration form below.

Please note: ALL adult volunteers must be VIRTUS certified before VBS begins. Certification does take some time, so if you are not already VIRTUS certified, please contact the parish office asap to learn how to get certified. The Diocese of Grand Rapids is committed to protecting the safety of the young people we are entrusted with. In order to ensure that one of the necessary steps is to take a Protecting God’s Children class if you plan to volunteer around youth. Please contact Linda Parks at the parish office at (616)363-6885 to begin the process.

Volunteers greatly appreciated! Service hours are available for kids in grades 6 through 12.
