5-8th Grade MS Shine Youth Rally

What is the Shine Rally?

The 5-8th grade diocesan-wide Shine Rally has been around since 1996. The late Deacon Ken Baldwin had a desire to create an event that appealed to middle school students and drew their attention to Jesus. It is an awesome day of speakers, music, games, skits, food, and faith.

It is has changed a lot over the years, moving to bigger and better venues. Now it is at the end of March at the 3 Mile Project.

Sunday, March 23, 2024 from 1-6:30PM.

Who can attend?

ALL 5-8th graders.

It is now held at the 3 Mile Project (3050 Walkent Dr. GR 49544).

How much does it cost?

$42/person by March 22.

$52/person late registration.

Please keep in mind that spaces are limited and it is highly unlikely there will be spots available the day of the rally.

Do we just go alone or with a group?

If you sign up through St Jude with Sue you will attend as a group. We will meet at the event. There will be time to go off and do your own thing, though.

Can parents come?

We need chaperones, so yes! Please let Sue know if you are able to help. (There is also an option to sign up to chaperone in the student registration)

All chaperones will need to be Virtus trained and given a background check. (This applies to any adults in the event space)

Is there Shine swag?

Yes! Please bring extra cash if you plan to buy anything.
