As we begin the season of Lent, the Diocese of Grand Rapids will once again offer a special opportunity to receive

At St. Jude Parish, we will be offering Eucharistic Adoration during our Evening of Penance. Please sign up on the sheet in the back of church. Having the Eucharist exposed in the monstrance gives us Catholics a wonderful opportunity to experience the reality that Jesus Christ is truly present in all our Catholic churches. When the Eucharist is exposed it is customary to kneel before our Lord in an act of reverence – just as the wise men from the East did when they encountered Jesus Christ after his birth. I hope that you are able to take advantage of this opportunity to experience Eucharistic Adoration in the peacefulness of our beautiful church. Sit with the Lord as you prepare for confession and pour out your heart to his healing love.
